Help wifi: unable to scan for wifi networks

Just last night I started getting the unable to scan for wifi networks message about every 5 seconds when trying to connect to wifi in the wifi settings menu.
I hope this is not a dreaded error message that means I will have to do yet another factory reset...

I doubt i changed any settings or did anything different, I always just turned it on and it would connect fairly quick.

Have you tried a battery pull?

Yup, a simple long press of the power button and hitting restart got me back in business.

Troubleshooting order of operations:
Restart
Battery pull
Factory reset, probably. Lol

And yes, how i would love to do that...it seems like I am finding I need access to do more and more things lately...
