Root Will I be able to install Gingerbread OTA update? Currently running leak .595

I just installed the 59 update on my phone last week! Am I going to need to reflash back to 2.2 to install the OTA? I'd rather not, because I really like how everything is set up at the moment on my X.

If you SBF back to 2.2.1 (Froyo) you can get the OTA... or just wait for the OTA to be rooted by TBH and then download that file and flash it... then boom... rooted OTA.

Thanks for the info! I was running the stock OS for months, and I got sick of waiting for the OTA. I should have waited one more week!

Just between me and you? If you love root as we do, I'd wait before you did all this. Read the new sticky above warning about accepting the new OTA. TIA! :)

+1 on what he said... I won't be taking the OTA till we get a full SBF for it... or confirm that we can SBF back to 2.2.1 (if they didn't modify the bootloader, hightly doubt that)
