Root Will it still be covered by warranty

Cut a short story even shorter, I rooted my desire, didnt like it so re installed the original ROM with the original bootloader. It now might have to go in for repairs (unrelated to rooting). Will it be covered or would they be able to tell Ive been messing?

If you restore stock, they shouldn't be able to tell, but I have a moto phone, I'm not an htc expert.

Thanks. I have had the problem prior to rooting. I get an echo of my voice when making and recieving calls, so 3 UK have decided to send it in under warranty.Fingers crossed.

This plagued me too. Changing radio fixed that for me.

Yeah as long as you have your stock 3 UK rom installed I dare say they won't even notice, I've known iPhone users that have taken back phones and gotten away with it
