Will KAOS will get GINGERBREAD working on the Fascinate?

I have tried going through all the info about how KAOS is coming on the GINGERBREAD but I really cant make heads from tails of it. Do you think KAOS
will eventually get it working and does anyone know how close he is. I think the man needs serious contributions if he can pull this off.

Hard to say. jt1134 now has his own Cm7 version out which I believe has at least as much stuff working as Kaos did. Some thing might never come fully like they did with the CM6.2 build. Notably, MMS and BT. However, depending on what you can live without these builds are daily drivers already for many

we could just wait for it to come out through VZW/Sammy.....lol. although I bet we'll get something working when the S2 hits in the fall (or if we're lucky sooner)

I worry any .32 version might not get video acceleration fully working. The GSM devs have successfully adapted the Samsung Gingerbread driver for a full-functioning .35 AOSP kernel... I realize that's a full RIL rewrite for us though.
