Help Will xbox360 atleast charge Evo since it wont play its music??

Very big let down that microsoft wont allow this... Didn't allow my Ipod touch either but I can see why there. But im just asking if it will CHARGE my phone
 
when you plug it in does it show the charging battery symbol?

that sucks that it won't read music...did you switch the phone connection to "hard drive" ?

my ps3 reads music vids and music fine when connected to it...and charges the phone as well
 
I plugged my phone into the Halo 3 Edition Xbox I just bought for him for his bday and it didnt recognize my phone. But the weird thing about it is my phone recognized it was plugged in to the Xbox and gave me the option to switch the type of connection I wanted between the 2. It charged my phone but wouldnt recognize it as a external device. I was trying to transfer a movie from my phone to the xbox. Does anyone out there no how to do this or if its even possible?
