Will you still come here after the EVO 4g is launched?

Not to sound crass, this forum is but a stopover till the EVO is actually in hand and xda get going. Fun and entertaining, perhaps; however, for serious work, xda is the place for me. I am the 'grab and run' type--got what I needed then leg it (leaving only a 'thank you' and donation).

I'll still be here to try to find all the tips and tricks I may have overlooked. I'll also want to be kept aware of any possible Froyo update coming, as well as the safest/best way to root the phone.

probably not, once i get my evo it summer time and imma be hitting the SDK for app development on android since it be my first phone

XDA is a great place for development and the likes but if you guys think the mods here can be strict then enjoy XDA haha. I was a lurker/member since the HTC Apache/6700 and stayed there until around October of last year before getting banned and coming here. XDA is not newb friendly whatsoever. I will continue to rely on them for hacks/mods but this is the place to be for decent conversation.

This is only the begining. Once it launches and peoples phones start going right or all wonky (and some will) then the forum fun really begins! Two weeks and counting!

I plan on hanging around, but won't be following things religiously like I am now.

Instead of looking for news and reviews, I'll be looking for themes/widgets/apps.

every phone has its quirks and problems. this won't be an exception. so i'll be on here to find out what they are, and how to deal with them. and just my guess, i feel there is going to be a lot of bitching from people in 4G areas that either don't get 4G reception when they should, or it is a very weak signal resulting in weak 4G speed tests. i might be one of those people.....

I thankfully get to avoid this problem by not having 4G!

Errrr...damnit...

90% of the time I'll be at work or home on wifi though, so whatever.

I'll def be here because I'll need all the help I can get for Android. The only devices I've ever owned were Blackberry 'til I switched to my Pre, so no Android experience what-so-ever. Who's ready to tutor me? LOL
