eyebeam...just a quick one for you...
is there anychance you can replace "internet" on this dock with "Gmail" for me...I've given it a go myself and it doesnt look too bad...BUT its a lil off from the original...I know the white word "Gmail" I put in is missing a drop shadow...and I dont think I got the reflection underneath perfect..and the lil dark diagonal bar that crosses the reflection on my version seems a lil too harsh too..
just wondering if you can do something far better than me

Hmmm... That sounds like it would require more artistic skill than I have. I'm ok at cutting & pasting, and putting stuff together, but my drawing talent is pretty limited. I just can't see how I'd make the apple a dark jedi or some such and still have it be recognizable. Would it have arms & legs? A hood? I'm just not seeing how I make that still look like an apple. Maybe if you could describe how you envision that one a little further, I could get a better idea of how or if to even attempt it.

Eyebeam, if you have the time and the inclination would you make me something from these for my Nook Color please?
The second pic looks great as is I think. I like the aged look of it. The first one looks too clean though imo. Maybe it would look better in b&W or sepia or something? I guess it actually looks pretty good as it is but I am thinking it would look better if the photo looked older.
Or maybe you have seen some better haunted/spooky houses?

OK, so a (very) quick Google search turns up a LOT of varying opinions on what the TB's proper wallpaper should be.
I'll see if I can put together a ruled template for you to try and see if we can figure out what works best. In the meantime, from what I saw, it looks like almost everything I've done should work at the very least ok for you, with maybe a little cropping on the edges (your phone will do that). OK, I'm back (damn, those ribs were good!
) and ready to rock. So from what I could tell, it looks like the Nook Color wants a wallpaper size of 1024x768. To enlarge the ones you posted that big there was some loss of quality, but I did the best I could. I also made one more you may like. Hope you like them - let me know.
To save them in full 1024x768 resolution, use the download button on the linked page or the share button to email them to an address accessible on your phone, then save the attachment(s). If your phone wont save 'em full size, or they look fuzzy, download and save them with a computer, then USB or email the full sized version(s) to your phone.

Nice. Since I'm a Street Fighter kind of guy too could you do me a Hadouken wallpaper?
I don't want it to contain Ryu or Ken, just the outstretched hands as the fireball is leaving them. Like Ryu has his hands here:
Also, if you could, make the fireball fiercer and more electric than this like the later versions of the game. The background can just be dark or even black with wisps of blue flame streaking off the fireball fading into the background. But as always, I trust your judgement with respect to this.

Hmmm... that's going to be tough, but I'll give it a shot. One question jumps out right away - What do yo want the arms coming out of? If I just do them coming from off screen the whole thing will be too big to work as a scrolling wallpaper, meaning that what show on a single screen will only be a small part of what you want (and besides, I really doubt I'd be able to find arms & hands in the right position at that size). Any ideas?

No, your not asking too much. Whether I can pull it off is another story!
The problem with doing it at that size/scale is that the arms, blown up that big, will look really pixelated. Also, only a small part of that will show on any given screen, making it tough to tell what it is. How about if I mostly shaddow/silhouette Ryu, so that the hands really stand out?
Edit: Here's what I mean. This is at least how I think this idea works best. Give it a try and let me know any thoughts you have on it.

Man oh man, does this look good on my phone! If I was a girl I'd be squealing. The fade out works great but it's the floor which really makes this. The whole thing looks amazing when scrolling across screens. It's like it was made for scrolling. Probably the best scrollable wallpaper I've seen.Click the pic ↓

I found these icons a few days ago, and I've been playing with them a bit. I was wondering if you could create a wallpaper that was another room type layout, except with toward the bottom of the screen have shelves (they don't have to be incredibly large, I only need 4 icons) where I could place icons (I need the top for widgets). Outside of that, I don't have any "must haves", I don't need anything special on the upper part, since I'm considering swapping to a Sense GB ROM, so I'll probably just stick the Sense clock up there (or maybe Beautiful Widgets, depending on if I find a skin I like for Sense) and call it a day.
As always, no rush, and thanks in advance.

So, do you want 4 individual shelves? How bout a screenshot with the 4 icons in place so I can line things up properly.

I was thinking 4 shelves with 2 spaces each, one on the right and one on the left. I haven't flashed the ROM yet, so I can't place the icons in order to get the shelves over the Sense dock, but I can try and dig up a picture of it to show you how much space it takes up.
I forgot to mention, I resized the icons to fit better on my screen. The ones I used for the dock I made are (w x h) 88 x 72 pixels. If you want to scale the icons down to a size you think would work better for my screen, just let me know and I'll post the four I need.
