Dammit! I thought I did. I'm a little color blind, so sorry. I'll give it another shot, but if that's still wrong I get the Eyebette to help me out with it later this evening.

I think you need the missus in on this one beamy...your green for the ears is still just a little too high in comparison to the body green, which is much paler....

why do we the simple folk keep asking you do match colours, knowing full well you have trouble.....we are selfish b*stards arent we lol (by the way im just messing, not trying to offend)

ARRRGGGHHHH!!! ;) One more time, folks. :o Alright, according to my color picker tool, the main ear color is now the same as the main head color.

so, better now?

I would say its very close if not spot on in most of the ear....it could just be MY eyes now playing tricks a lil on me with a tiny part of it..

I would say you can't notice any change in colour...

Yes, by 5 faces I mean five home screens. I want 1 wallpaper to span across all of them. I have played with this concept myself, however I haven't quite figured out the dimensions. My searching has found 960 x 800 and 640 x 480 and all sorts of other various sizes. I may be slow but Google has not provided me with a definitive answer on the size! I've used 640 x 480 and when I cropped the image on the phone, it forced me to cut off the sides.

Not too concerned about their forms.. as long as they're comparable -- if one is super saiyan then make the other the same. I'm just looking for something that will not make my phone look cheap like my attempts have done!

OK - For future reference, 960w x 800h is the optimal size wallpaper for your phone. That way you'll have no cropping on the phone when you set it.

Here's a 960x800 wallpaper template that may help. The red area is what will be visible on your center screen. Make sure you get it saved in full resolution.

Edit: @ AJam - After a quick look around, I don't see any really good pics of either of them in a pose that would work well with the idea of them firing at each other from either side of the screen. Can you post or link the ones you were using in you attempts? Or maybe you can help out here, McL?

She doesn't mind - it's just that she's been getting her a$$ kicked at work lately, so now she's napping, and has a ton of crap still to do when she gets up. So, if I can do it without her, right now, that's better.

So, help me out here - Is the green too vivid? Bright/dark? Anything you can tell me may help.
 
Nah, I've learned a few tricks to deal with it over the years and I'm far from completely color blind. But sometimes I do wonder what I think is a really bright color looks like to the rest of the world... :(
 
well im short sighted...and I know THAT sucks enough when I dont have my glasses on (which is ALL the damn time) so I can't imagine what not seeing colours 100% is like

Just got home from work. I may have to download some Dragon ball episodes and take some screen shots for this one. I wont be able too get to that till this weekend though. Ive been workin like a slave on the plantation. I was checkin out some pics earlier, but I usually find what Im lookin for one way or another. Itll be friday at the earliest.

Oh, in my defense, I didnt know he was any bit color blind. haha.

@ AJam - Unless you can come through with some good pics of the characters you want in the appropriate positions, then I'm going to put this one on hold until I see what McL can come up with. Sorry to make you wait, but it seems like he really knows what's needed for this one. In the meantime, I'll work on a background and the energy beams so that when I do get the characters, it'll be pretty quick after that. Fair enough?

OK, here's the deal. Those pics are really too small to blow up that large without some major pixelation going on. Not that it's any bother to me, but since you want to know how to change the size yourself, I'll let you see how good/bad these will look and you can decide whether it's good enough for you.

There are many other online options to do resizing but for me, this method works best to get it to the right size and still get the maximum of the image visible. If you run into any problems, or have any other questions, just let me know.

Jersey Shore has ruined yet another life.

Actually that's what I was kinda getting at with those pix. I set the one as a background, blowing it up. Very pixelated. I didn't know if you used a program that smoothed out the transition when making pix larger. I'm really very unfamiliar with how to use photo editing software, so I'm not sure where it's limits are.

I have a 24" screen, so a lot of times I find a pic I'd really like to use as a background and it's just too small to stretch out.

I'd guess that there is such a program, but I don't have it. I'd think something like that would be pretty high-end and likely out of my price range. And even if I did have something like that, I don't think it would be able to take something that small and make it look acceptable that much bigger. :( So basically I'm saying, sorry man, not much I can do either.

When youre searching for pics, if youre using google image search, you can adjust the size of the image youre looking for. On the left side theres a link that says more options or search options. Click that, itll bring up a little space that lets you change the size. Depending on how you have your resolution set, you should have a much easier time finding photos that will fit your desktop without any stretching.
