eyebeam....I want you to make me SOMETHING! lol
I just don't know what I want yet lol mainly because I'm running Launcher 7 now on the phone as well as stock gingerbread....so have the solid black status bar at the top (which I don't hide in Launcher 7) so any light coloured wallpapers I have don't mesh with the status bar well..so I've been using dark wallpapers to hide the bar...kinda bored with that though..
so I'm thinking a light coloured wallpaper at least at the bottom blending to dark at the top...maybe just do whatever you want? lol

So, if you're running launcher 7, I assume you just want something simple and abstract as it will barely show behind the large tiles?

well I have the tiles on half transparent effect so can see quite a bit behind them

basically something that starts of light at the bottom of the screen and fades to black at the top so it mixes with the status bar..
as to what....that i'm leaving to you lol seriously I have no idea...just something crazy an abstract maybe lol

its good but not quite what im after...im thinking something light an colourful mixing to dark then black at the top with abstract colour an shape.

Yeah, I figured as much. On requests like these I mostly just start fooling around with a few things, and hopefully something good happens. Sometimes they go somewhere else, and I just roll with it to see where it goes, as was the case here. Oh well, maybe someone else will like it.
I'll give it another try tomorrow.

i have no doubt someone else will like it an use it...everyone loves Andy lol look at the responce you got when you did my other Andy screens 
hey beamer, you remember the one that has 'bot and says google at top, android at bottom? google is different colors? wish i had a screen shot... if you find it i was wondering if you can move bot and 'google' down a little, i found a really cool app (widget) that lets you put text on screens and i wanna have room without covering where it says google... really only need to save a centimeter i suppose... no rush

First off I'd like to thank you for taking time out of your days to make these AWESOME wallpapers!
I'd also like to request a wallpaper if you don't mind.
I would like the android figurine that has his arms crossed wearing the Marine Corps Desert MARPAT style uniform (rolled sleeves) along with the desert cover with the brim facing straight and centered on his head.
Have him standing slightly to the left of the emblem/flag in this wallpaper only with a more metallic looking background, kinda like the one in the above post, and enlarge the figuring a little so its like his torso and up with a smartass smirk on his face or something like that (if possible)
I don't know if it makes a difference in the formats you put them in if I have a tablet or a phone but I would like to use it on both my Droid X 2and Xoom if you don't mind.
I appreciate everything you do for the forum members here! I apologize if my request is crazy specific >.< I'm a jarhead so I tend to like uniformity and symmetry....

Alright DeviMack, give this a try and let me know how you like it.
To save it in full 960x800 resolution, use the download button on the linked page or the share button to email it to an address accessible on your phone, then save the attachment. If your phone wont save it full size, or it looks fuzzy, download and save it with a computer, then USB or email the full sized version to your phone.

First off, thanks for the kind words, and also for your service to our country.
OK, on to business - I'm not sure I can pull all off this off, but I'll at least give it a try. A few things need clarifying...
1: by the "android figurine that has his arms crossed", do you mean this guy? http://www.joshuamunoz.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/05/Lloyd.png
2: How far should the sleeves be rolled up (if I can even make that look right...) I assume that that's an important detail.
3: "...only with a more metallic looking background, kinda like the one in the above post" I'm not sure which above background you're referring to here. One of mine? If so, can you give me the reply number (it's in the upper right of each post)?
4: Just so you know - Making facial expressions on these androids is not easy and often doesn't work out well for me. I'll do what I can, but no guarantees there.
5: As for the devices you'll put it on, yes, that makes a difference. The Zoom requires a MUCH larger wallpaper size to look it's best. The program I use to make these doesn't really like working with complex, multi-layer images that big, but I'll see if I can make it work. Sorry, but again - no guarantees there.
Ok, I think that's about it.
And no need to apologize for asking for what you want - That's exactly why I do these. Now we'll just have to see if I can do it well. Get back to me and then I'll get started.
