Sure Cincy. I'm a little backed up ATM, so It'll probably be a few days before I can get to it, but it shouldn't be a problem once I do. Although, being a fan of perennial Big Ten patsy Minnesota, I gotta tell you - I wont enjoy doing an Ohio State one! :mad::p;)

hey no problem. i know the procedures in here. first come first serve. and the guy doing all the work does have a life. im in no hurry. and for the minnesota thing, they do have a good baseball team... lol

OK, I haven't heard back from JRich yet, so I had a little time to work on yours. Here's what I think you're asking for on the Android part of it. Look like what you had in mind? If so, I'll see what I can come up with for the background.

Thanks BB. That is a good background and I've used it several times before. I usually try to do something a little more unique (mostly resulting in requests to make it less unique :o;)). If cincy likes your idea, he certainly has the skill to slap the .png onto the background you posted.

2: How far should the sleeves be rolled up (if I can even make that look right...) I assume that that's an important detail.

4: Just so you know - Making facial expressions on these androids is not easy and often doesn't work out well for me. I'll do what I can, but no guarantees there.

5: As for the devices you'll put it on, yes, that makes a difference. The Zoom requires a MUCH larger wallpaper size to look it's best. The program I use to make these doesn't really like working with complex, multi-layer images that big, but I'll see if I can make it work. Sorry, but again - no guarantees there.

Ok, I think that's about it.

And no need to apologize for asking for what you want - That's exactly why I do these. Now we'll just have to see if I can do it well. Get back to me and then I'll get started.

Thanks for your response.

Unfortunately, the firewall out here is completely ridiculous when it comes to what it restricts so I can't see what link you've posted, sorry >.<

As for the sleeves, its difficult to explain since the android figure doesn't have biceps :P Standard is about halfway up the bicep, so 3/4 of the way up the arm? Sorry, if you google Marine Corps rolled sleeves they have examples on youtube. (I really wish I could assist but, once again, the firewall blocks streaming video as well.)

The metallic look I was referring to was the one in the post for NightAngel above my initial post. The background was the standard android figurine with google across the top and android on the bottom. I'm not sure if that one was one of your originals or not.

Honestly, the facial expression was just sort of an idea I thought up right before I hit submit post. It is perfectly okay if you skip that part, I understand.

With the two devices, I would prefer to have it on my Xoom so don't worry about the Droid X2 if it becomes too much of a hassle.

You do this of your own free will, and do it well from what I can see. Please, don't go too far into the weeds if it becomes too much trouble.

**EDIT** I went to google images and copy+pasted the link you gave me and the first image I got IS the droid figure I was talking about. When I said in the initial post to have him standing to the left of the icon on the wallpaper I was referring to his left :P Just FYI

OK JRich - Here's a little rough draft for you to try out on your zoom (no, I didn't get to the hat yet...). Why don't you give it a try and let me know how the size works, whether you think I've got the general idea of how you wanted it, and any other thoughts on it you may have. If so then I'll tighten things up for you and call it done. I'd like to get the flag/marine emblem part larger, but at this huge size it just looks too bad blown up that much. If you like the general idea here, I can do that for the DX2 version later.

That's HOT eyebeam, solid work. I might snatch this (yes I'm a former Marine as well lol) for my GS2 when I get it, I can save it to 480x800 right? Only thing I think could make it better in my POV is to have the Android guy wearing pants.

It looks pretty good on the Xoom. You did some great work, eyebeam. The no pants thing kinda through me through a loop at first xD

The only thing I have is if you could move him off to his left a little bit more, it would be perfect. Nice job on the sleeves though, really like that a lot!

Just an idea I had, not sure how it would turn out but I thought it would be kinda funny if his little antennae poked through the top of the cover. I know the cover is big and his antennae are kinda short so...just an idea.

hey thats perfect. thanks alot. love your work. wish i had half the talent and artisit view to do some of these things..
with that being said i did try the black metallic background with your black android. looks cool but still missing something. im working on it..lol
