The only thing I have is if you could move him off to his left a little bit more, it would be perfect. Nice job on the sleeves though, really like that a lot!

Just an idea I had, not sure how it would turn out but I thought it would be kinda funny if his little antennae poked through the top of the cover. I know the cover is big and his antennae are kinda short so...just an idea.

OK gang, thanks for the support on this one (except for smart ass Dean! :D:p;)). Nice to hear that I seem to be onto something good here.

For those of you who what to use it on a phone - I'll also be making a 960x854 version of it for JRich's DX2. He mentioned that his priority was getting it for his Zoom, and it'll be easier for me the shrink elements down for a smaller version later, so that's what I'm doing first.

As far as the pants go, here's the deal there - The original creator of this Android does a lot of sports jersey ones and that's how he does them. That said, when I looked at the rough draft, it sorta looked to me like he was wearing a Marine baby onesie. :o I'm not sure I can make it work, but I'll try to add pants.

@ JRich - If I can do the pants, I think he's going to need a belt. Plain black with a metallic looking buckle ok?

Moving him to the left is no problem at all.

I was thinking of poking the antennae through the hat - not sure it''l look right for the reasons you mentioned. I'll just have to see what works best.

One more thing - I might try to do my own flag and Marine emblem. If I do, can I lose the eagle that's been added to the emblem?

Alright, I'm not a patient man :o, so I just went ahead with this one. Give this a try and let me know what you think. If all's well, I'll make a phone sized one (the Zoom handles wallpapers differently than phones...) for you and anyone else waiting on this one.

This looks absolutely perfect, you do amazing work. Would love this at 480x800 if possible.

I'll get you a 480x800 one when I make the smaller one (after I hear from JRich whether or not this is the final version. It will have to change a bit, due to the different ways a Zoom and a standard phone handle wallpapers, but I'll keep it as much like the original as possible. Stay tuned...
 
eyebeam!!!!!!!! you are the MAN!!!!!!!!!! that has to be THE best looking android ever. even if he is in a marine uniform.lol army guy here..lol seriously it dont get any better than that. you need to put a patten on that one. could you resize that for a desktop? if so that is going on my home desktop ASAP. 23in 1920x1200

there should be a hall of fame for lloyd and his different pose's and outfits ect... and this would be the logo for it..

hey im sure its some work but how about doing this same type for the army,navy and air force.? just a thought/idea?

Lloyd is the name of this particular android (the one with the arms crossed). It was created by someone (Phil or CyberWarrior, I think...) over at Android Central. I merely "borrowed" it for this wallpaper. :o Pretty typical for me - someone else does all the hard work, I take the credit! :D:p;)

OK, so if I were to try to do an Army version of this one (no guarantee), can you tell me what kind/pattern uniform he should be wearing? Also, what insignia would be best for the background? I not a military man myself, so I really don't know what the average soldier would want it to look like. A pic would help a lot.

For anyone in other branches of the armed forces, same questions.
 
Ooooo can you give him Master Chief armour from halo? or make him look more space marine like (as in from warhammer 40,000)

oh...and if you can do either of those...he needs to have his helmet off...so just the body armour not helmet..

lets see if that will defeat you or not eyebeam :p:D

Yeah, that might be too much for me. Getting the look of that armor wrapped around the body would be super tough to get into proper perspective (for me, at least).

Maybe, Maybe if I get super bored, I'll see if can can make it work, but I wouldn't be too optimistic if I were you...
