well im not actually expecting you to do it eyebeam...I'm just offering it as a challenge if ya want to try but don't worry if you can't.

hell im sure even the best photo shoppers couldn't do it...at least not with the template 'droid that you used with the marine outift..

ill hook ya up with some pics of army uniforms, almost the same in color(sand/desert) most popular right now. hats are different. insigna is different, but ill get some pics together for you and you can go from there if you want. ill round up some navy and air force stuff as well. i did some playing with the metallic background and your marine, also added a marine tattoo to his left arm. looks ok i guess. ill post later when i get home from work. i could have done it earlier but i didnt and wasnt going to, dont wat to ruin your hard work. but it think some might like it a little, we'll see.

I LOVE him.

I think he would look good on that background in a different color too. Maybe a sandy color? Or maybe he needs a glow around him. I'd play with it on PicSay but the app won't let me grab the pic of him.
 
Looks pretty good Cincy, of course the Marine in me would say "Why is that muzzle in the ground!? It's not supposed to be handled like that!"... but adding in the M16 does look good.

And eyebeam, I will be making a donating to my local food bank on your behalf for all your time and hard work. Will probably do it a little closer to thanksgiving and/or Christmas so that people can benefit from it around the holidays. No idea where it is, but I'm sure google can help me with that :)

Thanks Cincy, that's good stuff. It actually shouldn't be too hard to make the necessary changes. Give me a day or two and I'll see how it goes.

Alright, that's pretty good. I agree with BB that on that background you need to make him and the M-16 stand out more. Maybe an outer glow or subtle outer bevel? Play around with it see what works.

And I think the tattoo would be better without the lettering and partially hidden by the sleeve. I just don't think anyone would have a tattoo wrapped around the elbow like that.

That's really great to hear. Growing up as a child who all too often went to bed hungry, it feels good to know that the people here are doing what they can so that other don't have to know what that's like.

i agree with you on the muzzle in the ground part in all reality, lol but when i had it the right way it didnt look as good. this kinda has that John Wayne aspect to it..lol if i knew how to actually make the droid(llyod) i could maybe have him holding it, but i have no clue as to how to make him. i do know it takes time and multiple layers to make him with his arms crossed,straight,bent, ect... im just learning and some of this stuff i do by accident the first time or to... thats why when i want something cool i ask the pros to do it for me.. ;) but im trying.learning and trying some more.

as soon as i posted the pic i said the same thing about the tattoo. and i did have one with the USMC half under the sleeve but was kinda blurred, didnt have enough time to work on it more. im gonna have some free time this weekend and im gonna play around with some of these.try different colors on the background. try and figure out how to and them light flares and highlight the M-16 some.

I won't be using any of the marine/army ones anyway (especially being british, our uniform is different...and the fact I'm in no way affiliated with any military lol) but those are some damn fine wallpapers eyebeam..

your the man. i must say the first one ya did with the marines is way to sweet, but im gonna have to rock this one just for the fact i was in the army..lol not that this one isnt as good. Semper Fi, to all my jarhead friends out there... ;)

Huh - I actually like the Army one a little more. Of course I have excellent taste, so... :D:p;)

If you'd like, I can give you just the Army Lloyd on a blank png, and you can try out some other things you might like better. If yes, just give me a shout.

looking good cincy, the only comment I gotta make is that I think Lloyd blends quite a bit with the background with similar colouring of uniform and the steel plating.

Ok, that's good. However, is it just me, or did you compress it a bit vertically? If so, any reason? Also, I agree with dean above - it needs to stand out a bit more from the background. I'd add a little drop shadow and maybe just a touch of black outer glow. Below is a quick example of what I mean (yeah, I'm too lazy to do the tattoo and M16 just for an example...) along with how I link full sized images from Picasa.

A while back, Picasa made it confusing to paste full sized images. Here's how I get around that - Open the page with the image you want > Hit "Full Screen" in the upper left > Hit F11 on your keyboard to go to full screen > right click and select "Copy Image location" or something similar depending on browser > Paste that location in the "Insert Image" box here. That should paste your image here like this ↓

Edit: Oops, looks like I made my example 1000x800. :o Oh well...

Hey gang - Got a request from the Eyebette for some Sons of Anarchy wallpapers, and figured I'd share 'em here too. So, any other SoA fans here?

The first one is a normal sized android wallpaper suitable for most phones. The others were made for the wife's Multi-pic live wallpaper set-up and will only work well in a single screen setting.
