Willing to make wallpapers

I've browsed through this whole thread, and you have done some great walls for people.
So.... since things have 'slowed down' I thought perhaps you might be able to try my request.
I wonder if you can change the color of this http://i40.tinypic.com/rw81zb.jpg to a purpley, remove the lil android guy and the words and have it say Cashmere Cat instead. :)
I have an HTC Desire.

seriously can never just do things in the day...bloody typical that is, all my writing seems to come to me a few hours before sleep haha...

but yea...the idea needs me to also set out a template on my phone of a setup as well...saying that..do you have one of those template wallpaper screens for me to position things so its easier for you when I produce my idea? its for a HTC Desire..

Hmmm... Not sure (meaning probably not) I can remove the words and Android cleanly enough to look good. I'll try, but if not I'll see if I can find/make something similar to replace that middle strip. The rest should be no problem. Good enough?

Most likely, I'll get to it tomorrow. Check back.

Our resident HTC Desire expert explained it to me once and it was a little complex. I can't remember how it goes now but I'll dig up the old thread (or ask him) and let you know.

edit: Good news. It's easy if you've got Widget Locker. Just enable sounds in there and pick your desired noise from Notification tones.

You can use something like Zedge to find a suitable tone.

@ Cashmere Cat - Looks like my insomnia is your gain! ;)

Ok, see what you think of this. As I thought, there was just too much of the writing and android to remove cleanly. Hope you like my substitute. And yes, I thought it needed a little something else, so I added the cat logo. If you don't like it, let me know and I'll get it out of there.

Edit: Oh yeah - I'm partially color blind, so if I missed on the hue, let me know and I'll see what I can do.

IMPORTANT! To save it in full 960x850 (same as the original) resolution, from your phone, click the thumbnail below and click the download button on the linked page. Then find the picture in your phones photo gallery (usually in the "Downloads" folder) and set as wallpaper from there. If your phone wont save it full size, or it looks fuzzy, download and save it with a computer, then USB or email the full sized version to your phone. To check to make sure it's saved full size, go to your photo gallery and open the wallpaper > hit "Menu" > select "Details" (or steps similar, depending on phone).

Hey rico - lookin' good. Thanks for sharing.

One thing... It looks to me like the wallpaper may not be on your phone in full resolution. Even in those small pics, the icons look sharper than the background. Did you check to make sure it is? To do so, go to your photo gallery and open the wallpaper > hit "Menu" > select "Details". It should be 960x800 resolution. If not let me know.

Also, the is a no-root screen shot app out. If you're interested -

Hi Eyebeam,, yes, its 960x800.. Was theearlier pic crisper than the pic I posted? Heres what ive downloaded. I thought it was to be fuzzy.somewhat..which is ok, but if you think it should be crisp, then yes lets see what can be done.

If that's what's on your phone, no, it's not 960x800 - as posted it's 288x240. An no, it's not supposed to be fuzzy.

Try saving from this link. Go to this link and long press on the pic until you get the option to save. Then after it downloads to your phone, go to your photo gallery, find and open the pic and set as wallpaper. Is that better?

The second download is much better! And haha! I quoted the "title" of the file last time.. I didnt realize you named the file... Man this is very crisp.

As the home screen transitions (left to right with a bounce to each "cube" , the background car either moves further left or right too which is great!

Uh-huh, I thought so. Glad it looks like you got it looking better! Thanks for posting back.

I think I'll probably post the link to the full sized one, with just a non-clickable thumbnail in the future. Since Picasa changed things up, the way I was posting them just doesn't seem to be working for too many people. If anyone has an opinion on this, let's hear it.

ok...took awhile to set my homescreen up with GO as I changed back..

basically what I want is kinda similar (but easier) to the Android theme one you did a while back. Except did I mention it was easier? :D

basically I just want there to be comic book/cartoon style explosion/expression bubbles behind the clock, smooth calendar widget, one singular for the dock and 2 small ones for the folder icons in the middle..

oh and if it could be on top of the attached wallpaper as well (which needs to be shrunk slightly to my screen cos its ripped from the Galaxy Nexus file dump)

Ok dean, that doesn't sound too bad... by Dean standards! :p;) Actually, that should be relatively easy to do (Ha - It never turns out that way when I say it.)

I'll try to get to it tomorrow, but if not, Saturday.

Also, when should I be expecting delivery of my free book? :D:p

OK Dean, give this a try. I tried it several ways with separate bubbles for the agenda and dock as requested, and it just wouldn't work. They had to be squished and didn't go with the others very well. Let me know how it works for you.

I'm posting these a new way now.

To save - Follow the link bellow and long press the image on your phone until the save option pops up, or from a computer right click and "save as", then transfer to you phone via USB or email.

its a good start, but the explosions for the dock/agenda and clock are way to small sadly..but I'm wondering if making them bigger will just make them look stupidly close to the edges of the screen :/

the only other thing is the black dots in the red is a lil bit much on my eyes...especially in the agenda widget

Yes, that's exactly what happens. I tried making it bigger, but when I did they no longer looked "cartoon-y".

hmm ok...had a thought....can you resize the 'dock' explosion outwards just a touch past the middle icons so it partly rests where the outer two dock icons are...and also shrink it in height slightly...as I'm going to lose the agenda widget now..
