Willing to make wallpapers

You do great work! If you would be so kind. With the U.S. flag in the background, could you superimpose the Chief's anchor through the middle, movement streaks sort of in a rounded fashion as if flying before it?

First off, Congrats to your daughter, and I thank you both for your service.

Ok, on to business - Yeah, I can do that. I'm just not sure what you mean by "movement streaks in a rounded fashion". Do you mean you want some motion blur type effect with maybe a little swirl to it? If I'm way off base, is it possible to post an image or link to one with the look you'd like? Let me know, and it should be done this evening.

Ok, so the swirl thing just wasn't really working, but I think it looks pretty good like this. Hope you and the daughter agree. Let me know what you think.

To save it at the full 960x854 (the optimum size for the Droid series), enlarge on the linked page with magnifying glass or use download button. If your phone's browser wont save it full size, or it looks fuzzy, download and save it with a computer, then USB or email the full sized version to your phone. You can also use the Share button on the page to email it to your phone.

Thanks GBXD and welcome. Yes, it's been pretty busy in here the last couple of days, but for some reason the requests seem to come in waves. Sometimes it's days without a request. Anyway, I always welcome other contributors here and look forward to seeing what you can do. Here's the way it works - If you see a request that you'd like to take, just post here letting me know you are doing it so that I'm not doing the same one. If people (<cough cough> pretty much me :D;)) are liking what you're doing, you'll be added to the official list of contributors in the first post of this thread.

Beamer still going strong at it, that's very pleasing to see. You just keep putting out great work. And as I haven't bothered you in a while, figured I'd throw out a small creativity challenge for ya. Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to get some Christmas wallpapers out. Perhaps some with an artistic flair, or maybe something off the traditional mark. Whatever gets those juices flowing.

If you need a suggestion to start before you can run with it, I'd like to see something predominantly black and white, but also one with the traditional reds and greens. Yeah, not much of a start, but I'm always curious to see where your mind takes you.

Hey there YankeeD - Been a while. I've been working on a Christmas one for a bit now, but it just hasn't come together for me yet. I'll keep your B&W idea in mind, and see if I can come up with a good idea along those lines. In the meantime, did you see this X-mas one I did a few pages back?



Maybe that will tide you over until some Christmas inspiration hits me (Yeah, I know - it better be quick...)

Yup, saw and saved it. Just like having a lot of options. lol And I change my wallpaper every other day. I can't help myself, really.

For anyone waiting for me to get your wallpaper done... I seem to have picked up some kind of flu and I'm feeling lower than David Hasselhoff trying to eat a cheeseburger. Right now, I'm considering it an accomplishment getting out of bed. I'll get 'em done, but things may be slowing down a bit. So, I ask you to be patient.

I'm trying to set my wallpaper with these two 2 images

But when i go to set it, it tells me to resize it but i never get it right, so can anyone help and my res. is 480 by 320. thanks.

That is most likely the screen resolution for your phone (I'm not positive on that), right? If so, then the correct size for it's wallpaper should be 640x480, to allow for scrolling across the multiple screens. The 2nd one you posted should be right as is. Here's the 1st one in the correct size:

Make sure that when you set them on your phone, you're dragging the crop box to the largest size.

If this doesn't work, can you tell me in more detail whats going on? Did you resize them to 320x480 and then put them on the phone? In what way do they not fit as wallpapers - All squished one way or another or are large parts of what you want cut off?
