Root wimax speed

Noticed this a few days ago w/ my 4g connection... I will be connected w/ a strong signal [all but the very top bar{signal indicator}] and web pages load dreadfully slow, if they even do load. Pages that would normally take 5-6 seconds on 4g take about 35 seconds. And one's that shouldn't take long at all [like androidforums] about 3x as long as pages like androidcentral & phonedog [when it does load, a lot of times it wont load more than 50% and all I can see is the androidforums "blue" backround]. I've run speed test and it is between 4-6 mbs down and about 1-1.5 up. If anyone has any ideas, I would greatly appreciate them.

[fwiw, Phone has been running myn 2.2 warm for about 3 weeks]

Is your wimax problem completely resolved, and are you loading pages normally now? If not, Adfree can also be causing your web pages to load slowly if not completely at all.

Yup...I recently learned that if you are not checking for new host files on adfree it can cause some issues with page loads. Also look at settings regarding flash (set to on demand) and even picture load if your browser supports it.
