Root [WIP]MIUIv4 Port.[ROM]

Was wondering....Can i just take the apk files of MIUI and use them on stock...or would that only work on Jelly bean. So far when i use the OTHER port that was recently released, it just crashes when ever i use pandora radio. An i use it quit often.
 
Sorry going to have to delay this for a few days unless any of you would like to help fix sms. Sms will not work, my sms fix method doesn't work with files from pg's framework.jar I forget what rom and device I used last time.

But just for the heads up, once I get this rom too 100% and when someone fixes the 1080p this will be my last work on this device most likely. I may or may not update the other ports.

I'll try to fix..I know a little. Link me if you want...I've dealt with that once..just gotta remember the fix I used

Hey have you tried the apns-conf.xml file in "etc" folder. I think that has something to do with sms?

Edit: mind sending me what you have so far? I feel like trying some things to fix sms. I have a couple ideas that i wanna try.

I fixed this before. I just don't remember what device and miui version on that device I used. Or did I use one of pg's builds? I don't remember. I tried using the current pg build for the sms fix but no go. I get a bootloop. But now that I think about it I may know why it does that.

It's in the framework.jar.
I'll send you and aboatright what I have so far but make sure you backup your modem. With this lgm_modemst_bakup_v2.zip. If you ever brick (like I did about 3 times now) message me and I'll tell you how to restore the files.

Sorry to all that messaged me offering to help. I went all geek mode and did over 30 framework tests. Pretty much spent the entire day attempting to fix sms and get frustrated.
I forget what files I replaced for it to fix because I gave up and went to sleep. When I woke up I saw that I forgot to flash my lastest framework jar. And bam that one worked
Build will be up tomorrow morning. :cheers:

I'm still working on a few bugs but it should still work be sure to read the instructions(And everything in the op)

It's not daily driver martial.(video recording bug, but I may know how to fix) But it still looks and feels amazing. I'm using it as my daily.. Until... Finish the "Other" Miui I'm going to release maybe next week ;)

MIUI 5 status = Boots(most apps need resizing)
