His car has a righteous stereo. cd/mp3/nav/dvd. If he lifts up the console, there is a plug in there for his ipod. I have asked him if I can plug my phone in somehow, but we have never really looked into it. His Ally does work through bluetooth though. He was kind enough to let me rip a "playlist" cd of mine to the hard drive of the stereo, so when I am out "cruising" i can listen to my own tunes! LOL We just don't know if the capabilities of it are only I-ready. Is android still too new to be considered in stereo systems like that??
And as far as the SRT-8 goes. He actually WON the car playing a fantasy game at Nascar.com during the 2010 Nationwide season! He had his choice between a Challenger, Mustang, Chevy Impala or Toyota Camry. (Yeah, I don't know how they grouped the first 2 with the last 2 either LOL) Prize value was $35K. He walked out of the dealer paying about $1200 plus he had to pay the taxes. Not too bad for an R/T. Red...with black stripes. LOL It is a nice ride!
Our new motto is: Sometimes it pays to be a redneck NASCAR fan!![]()
lol@ those car choices. I see what they did, Dodge, Ford, GM, Toyota all participate in Nascar so you have to have 1 of each make. I don't understand why GM chose to put in a Chevy Impala. I think I'd rather have a V6 Camaro than a Chevy Impala even with the V8. Sigh, now I miss my LS2...until I go to the gas station of course....
Oh and was the Mustang a V8? I hear the new 5.0 are "little" beasts.
