Root Wireless Tether causing data connection interruptions?

I have a rooted DX running the latest Apex ROM.

I really just started using the Wireless Tether today, and it's causing both my laptop and the DX itself to lose data connection off and on.

Any idea why, or solution?

same here the 3g icon just goes away and i lose connection..hey i suggest barnacle wireless tether. it works just as good and theres no data interruptions

I see this issue as well with both Wireless Tether and the 3g Hotspot service. I don't know what causes it, but cycling the phone into Airplane mode and back will cause the data connection to reset just fine.
