Root wireless tether

It's been removed from the Market due to phone carriers demanding its removal. If you like it, download the APK and hold onto it. Use an Installer from Market to install it.

Technically hasn't been removed.... verizon is blocking your phone from seeing it, I've heard if your turn off 3g and browse the market on wi-fi you will see it.

I have a related question, I was using wireless tether for a long time, loved it. I haven't needed it for a couple of months. Tried it this morning and got this error message "unable to wireless tether, are you rooted?".
I am rooted and as I said, it has been working great in the past. I wondered if there was any kind of carrier bullet or something that might be interfering with it. I am on Sprint, w EVO, rooted Supersonic.
Anybody else on Sprint, still using wireless tether without an issue?

This is the Incredible forum so we're all Verizon. Although there may be some folks here that own both, you might get a faster response by posing your question in the EVO forum. One universal thing to check though is that you have permissions granted in the superuser app. Hope you get it ironed out.
