Help With latest update my android keyboard .apk force closes - please help

let my phone do an ota and now the android keyboard .apk that I downloaded and installed from here:

No longer works after the update . It force closes everytime. Can anyone please help me figure out why?

it is probably not compatible because it is based on the froyo build. since you updated to gingerbread, the phone is not to happy with that keyboard. not sure if there is a gingerbread keyboard apk, but i'm sure you can find it at xda as well.
