Help WMP Sync Issues

[HTCEVO1980]

I have a HTC Evo 4G and I cannot,for the life of me, figure out how to get this thing sync'd!! I have gone under my settings in my phone and under the "connect to PC" settings i have tried disk drive and HTC sync and nothing!!! MY WMP is not recognizing the phone so i can transfer my music. HELP!!! Anyone? Anyone?

do you have htc installed on your computer?

I don't use sync but my phone always shows up in wmp
