wondering...

i was just wondering.i do really like the features and everything ive seen so far about the SF.but i text a whole lot throughout the day.i wanted to know if me being a heavy texter would the SF be a bad phone choice?

About as good as any touch-screen phone. Whether you prefer a hardware keyboard is a personal choice.

Yeah honestly you wont know till you try it. I got used to swype rather quickly and only now after 6 weeks of swyping am I trying out a qwerty on this thing. It is of course different than physical buttons on a qwerty or even T9 but most people adapt pretty fast. The screen is big enough that you can go pretty fast

I installed the smart keyboard pro and it is. I just did not like the stock keyboard. Wanted something that looked like the iphone keyboard. I like the spaces between the keys.

would the battery die quickly since i text a lot?
Define a lot? Texting does drain battery because 1] your screen is lit the whole time you type and 2] data transmission drains battery. 50 texts a day is one thing. If you are doing 200+ a day you might not get 12 hours of battery life. Its all usage dependent

Lets put it this way, I've been heavily texting my husband, playing angry birds and games of wordfeud since 7 P.M. and my battery is at half.

IMO I think the battery life is amazing.
There she is :) Not to thread jack but did you ever get your SF replaced because of the screen issues?

Yea, I got a new one in today, no problems what so ever except for shaky volume button on this one but that doesn't warrent me sending it back and being without a phone for a week again. (a very long week!)

Nice, now lets get you back to where you were before. ;)

Love it for texting. I've always preferred a true keypad on my phones for easier texting, but man, swype is SO good. I can text insanely fast and with pretty damn good accuracy.
