Root Wonky apps

Bugly

Android Expert
My duaghter's ally keeps going nutz on her. Not rooted, not ROMd.
Totally stock and un f-d with..
Here's the problem: She tells me the other night that her apps are randomly just starting for no reason, there have been random reboots and freezes.
Is there some malware out there that is known for this? or cold it be a case of misallocated memory that is conflicting her device?
We have tried battery pulls, wiping cache, calling *228, *22899 and have been on the line with verizon tech support. She has also taken it in to the store for help and nobody seems to know what's going on, but they still won't replace it because it doesn't act up all the time. The device is insured and still under manufacturer warranty, so what's the issue with replacement? IDK.
If anyone has an idea on how to remedy this, I'd appreciate it, since she's 17 and needs a lifeline for "safety" lol.
She got so tired of it last night she activated the wife's old blackberry storm so she could have a phone. (yuk!)
TIA

Try going into the settings menu and into applications and removing all of the keyboard shortcuts, sometimes they will act up and cause stuff to launch for no reason.

Download a Multitouch tester off the market to test the digitzer. But i honestly recommend rooting it. as it helps this phone alot

I sell and support VZW phones as a manager with gowireless, and I agree with everyone on here . . . Root the ally and put Velocity1.1 on it and it will be a new phone. Velocity1.1 overcomes the ally's processor and memory limitations and takes care of the bugs.
