Root Words with Friends not responding constantly

Well I'm using a rooted Optimus and find my words with friends game constantly freezing and not responding. I press wait or force close and sometimes it will repeat the not responding message immediately after either one of those options are pressed.

Maybe it has to do with RAM, since my phone freezes every once in a while doing almost anything else, like texting, using Opera, etc.

Did you install a custom recovery and make a nandroid backup in that recovery. If not this is more important then I could possibly explain. Plus now that you are rooted you can never use the factory reset in the privacy setting on the phone or you will brick the phone. You can only use the wipe data / factory reset found in a custom recovery.
I'm going to get the guide to move your post to the "All things root" section as you will benefit greatly from there knowledge and expertise.

I moved your thread to the root section, since you are rooted they might have better advice there.

I know that WWF was a pain in the bottom when I used it. It is quite a resource hog (why I ended up deleting it), and has a lot of ads so it could quite possibly be the app itself. There might also be something better from the knowledgeable people who post here regularly. So stick around and find out.

My OV is stock, and I installed WWF last night. While playing today, it froze a lot too, and even randomly rebooted. Not all the way, so that the Virgin Mobile screen came up, but the Android logo just came up and brought me back to home screen.

I was going to post a similar topic to find out if that restart had to do with WWF possibly hogging resources and glitching.

I'm becoming more convinced that this app is just a memory hog. It's really a shame, my friend's Incredible and the iPhone play this game like it's as smooth as butter.

They have way more internal memory and their processors are running at around 1GHz.
if you have App2SD go to home screen and then menu/ clear cache(look at the size of the app before you do this)
Another thing that builds up a huge cache is any browser or browsers you have installed. Make sure you clear your search history before existing.
You need to get Android Assistant or something like it and clear cache and system.

If you do all these things every day it will help with the speed of your phone and should keep force closures to a minimum.
