"Friend"...Ok, let me explain b/c I'm sure this is a head scratcher. Not the word itself, but how it's really lost it's meaning. I'm so tired of how people are going around saying, " I have 300 or some crazy # of friends on facebook." When you call them out by saying, " well their not really your friends in the sense of the word, they get all defensive & feel they have to start explaining to you who everyone is & how they are "friends" w/ them. It just sounds sad to me & I feel sorry for those who really think these people are their "real friends." I'm sorry, but Joe Blow who you met this morning at Starbuck's when you were picking up your coffee on the way to work is not a true friend.

Reminds me of Marbles.

Shame my Grandmother had a rescue / stray cat named Marbles... some jerks and losers just should NOT be allowed to have animals because Marbles's previous owners used to lock the cat up in the garage and then crank their motor bike engine through the roof to watch Marbles freak out trying to escape but it couldn't and Marbles had multiple health issue because it wouldn't trust humans anymore form not eating anything...

Very sad story.

Shame Marbles actually died of a heart attack in the end it was a very sad story.

Had many health issues

Ja the cat was pretty old but I really liked Marbles wonderful cat that although it did not like most humans.

Lovely nature ... sad story.

Real scum those previous owners I would love to see them get a taste of their own damn medicine... just scum.

Neither do I, especially when it's painted on a shovel and used repeatedly to whack me in the head. It's hard to sleep when you're being whacked in the head with a shovel.
