Wordwise Free permission to access to Google Account

I installed Wordwise Free and was asked to grant it permament access to my Google Mail account. I uninstalled the app.

I later re-installed it just to see if the permission had been removed. It had not!

How do I remove permission for this app to access my google mail account?

Looked at the permissions (the ability to make phone calls and control my network access, etc, etc) and they are ridiculous!

I'd be smart and keep it uninstalled!

I agree and have uninstalled but am a little concerned that even after uninstalling the app the phone still remembers that I gave it googlemail permissions. Surely there must be a way of revoking this permission

If it's deleted it can't send info.

Apps like that should be banned from the Market imho!

some permissions are not what they seem remember, for example the phone call thing might be used to manage the apps state if a call is received while playing.

Hi,
There is a way of doing this.

1. Log in to your GMAIL Account.
2. Click on Settings.
3. Select Tab: Accounts and Imports.
4. Select: Google Account Settings in Section: Change Account Settings. This should open a new window which takes you to your Google Account Settings.
5. In the Section: Personal Settings under sub-section: Security select:Authorising applications and sites. This should take you to a page which will show you details of sites that have access to Google Account
6. Here you should find "Wordwise Free" just click on "Revoke Access". Done!

from those, the only one i'd question is network location. That together with a few others suggests he's collecting data. Now, that may only be because he wants to see what type of people and from where play the game, but could also be ad related. Does the game have ads?
