Root Working EASY Root

I just wanted to say thanks! With 1 click, and the bloat removal, my Sammy is QUICK and clean! ;)

One Click Lag Fix, right?

Not to scare you, but will you report back to us in a week and then again in 2 weeks? Let us know if you experience any slow down.

I'd love to do the lag fix because my phone is now lagging, but am worried.

why not use universal androot?

it is one click unroot / root app

but i find market (possible internet wifi connection not working) after rooting it
have to unroot it back

This worries me:

"Though the Android 2.2 update will allow Fascinate users to download, install, and use Google Search, Google Search will not replace Bing as the main search engine that launches when the "Search" button is pressed. That button will always launch Bing, even after Google Search is installed."

This was from that Verizon news-brief concerning Bing. I won't really be satisfied until my hard search button is customizable as well. I think those buttons should be completely customizable on any android phone, just to go along with its promotion of a open system.

I hope the rooting community can figure this one out ...

Just means you'll have to root post Froyo as well

Why you guys dont root your phone with Easyroot or Zroot? you have to only install it run and reboot,
looks like much more easier way :)

because there is a lot more to rooting than just getting superuser access :o

1 click root doesnt install drivers on your computer which are neccessary to install clockwork recovery...1 click root doesnt prepare new users with the neccessary information to understand what they are doing

ill admit 1 click root is ok for EXPERIENCED users who are just being lazy and want to root and are away from a computer for whatever reason.

odds are though....that average 1 click phone only root user is clueless about their phone and its just diving headfirst into something they should have read up on.

my feelings on the *root* issue is that really if you want to root it shouldnt be easy and you should know what you are doing (also install the android sdk :))

Because if we all did 1 click root there wouldn't be anyone to help fix the phones that people bork because they don't know anything about their phone. You should probably read around some...

ok, but i still dont really understand what are are benefits for me when do it your way? what are differences between them? (sorry for my english)

from technically the stand point of is the root any different....no its not....it uses the same exploit to gain superuser access.

my point is that...if you are new to root or dont know what you are doing....not reading up on it, not installing the computer drivers, not installing the sdk, not installing clockwork recovery........then you are heading down a bad path

people with limited information who either quickly google stuff or dont follow the information out there are the most likely to brick (or think they brick) their phones.

since they didnt take the time to install the drivers and adb (which is neccessary to restore bricks a lot) or install odin, etc etc they are in for a world of hurt.

i only think 1 click root should be available to devs who are constantly trying things out and loosing root, just so they can click through and root quickly to get back to work

the average android noob has no place using these things imo :o
