Help Working without an SD Card

I apologize if this has been posted before, but when I try to search for answers I only find people who have the opposite problem.

I bought my Incredible when it first came out and have never saw the need to put an SD card in it, but I am starting run into apps that refuse to run without an SD card.

The only one I really care about is Evernote which I use a lot with my iPad and multiple computers. I have plenty of room left of internal storage. It seems stupid to have to install an SD card just to make apps work. Is there a way to tell the apps to use the internal memory instead?

I'm not sure there is a way, if so I haven't heard of it. Some apps drop their own folder onto the card upon install - I'd imagine for necessary reference files in most cases. If you don't do much with your card, just drop a cheapo 2G in there. I got mine on day #2 and it came with one for free. You get one?

I definitely did not get a free SD card from Verizon and I got mine the Saturday after it came out. It seems weird to me that apps are designed assuming you an SD card. It was not that long ago before complain about not being able to install apps on the SD card.

Yeah that sucks you didn't get one. In the early days of this phone I think they knew they were going to have problems with people not installing SD cards so (at least at Best Buy), they were pulling one off the wall and including it with the phone purchase I can only assume at Verizon's request and reimbursment. Not long after, they repackaged them, changed the SKU and unless I'm mistaken, began to include the card in the phone packaging.
