I really want this battery, but only if I can find a good protective case for it and the phone. I'm currently using the Seidio extended Active case with the 4500 mAh battery.

Does anyone know of a good protective case for the 7000 mAh battery (if one even exists)?

You don't need a case, the battery cover is the case.:)

Even if you could,it'd be like putting on a condom over body armor,totally unnecessary.:rofl:
 
I got mine yesterday. Charged it for the 12 hours as it said in the instructions. The phone has been on battery for over 16 hours now with moderate use (eBay, web browsing, Facebook, texting, a couple phone calls, etc.) and I'm sitting at 82%. Wi-fi is on, and I keep brightness around 25%. Pretty great.

Hopefully I'll be ordering this on Tuesday. Kept holding off because I'm too attached to my defender case, but after reading reviews, it seems the case offers a fair amount of protection.

It offers plenty.It absorbed the shock of a 5ft. drop onto concrete w/o so much as a scratch or rattle to my phone.

Also,the edge of the case/cover is raised just enough to provide protection when placing the phone face-down on a table/desktop,etc..

You'll be asking yourself "Why didn't anyone come up w/this idea before now"?

Ohh okay, I've heard quite a few people say it doesn't offer much protection to the screen is another reason I've held off on it so far.
 
Looks like a big brick. At least I won't run out of juice in a day. Battery is beasting! At 67% been nuts on the phone all day trying to run it down Even had hotspot on for 2 hours with laptop tethered.

Definitely beyond reassuring,it's practically impossible to run this battery down under any circumstance in a typical day.

The entire cellphone industry should take notice of this,whether the battery is removable or imbedded.
 
Got mine today, just popped it in to give it that recommended 12 hour charge.

Can't wait to see what day 1 is gonna be like.

Case is pretty nice too. Fits perfect. Had a time getting the battery in though.

Charges at a decent rate, barely slower than stock battery, figured it would take longer with it being that many mh

Upside, it came with 93% juice :p

Expect about 5-6 hrs to charge from near 0%-100%,using the stock OEM SAMSUNG charger.If using an external battery charger,expect much,much longer charge times.
