WORLD'S BIGGEST GALAXY S3 BATTERY- ZeroLemon 7000mAh Battery w/Review- add CBA result

Bit of a strange question, but does anyone find that their phone is much slower/laggy with this battery? Not sure if it's a placebo, but when I'm on the stock battery my phone is lightning fast, but I put the ZL in and my phone lags like crazy : confused:

Not something iv ever noticed, but will look out for it over the next couple of days and report back.:)
 
I'm in the fourth cycle. A problem with charging: twice the battery stopped charging at "100%"... then, a few hours later, when I unplugged the charging cable, the battery immediately dropped from 100% down to 47% or 49%. Then I had to plug the battery back into the charger to fill it up to 100%. That's when the charging became very slow. Happened twice. Seems like the phone incorrectly read the battery level as 100% when it's really at 47/49%.
 
Finally got 2 days, I usually average 1day and 16hrs.

I just received a new battery since my old one seemed defective can some one please help me out I know that I need to do a 12hr 6times charge cycle but should I do it with the phone on or off? And I'm guessing I shouldn't use the phone at all during the charge?

I would guess it would be better off. Just turn it off and sleep for 12 hours XD

The 12 hour charge only needs to be done once. Then the do a normal charge/discharge cycle 6 times. Let it drain to 1-2% then recharge. That info came directly from Joey at ZeroLemon. He didn't say whether the phone should be on or off. My thinking is that since you're not calibrating the battery but rather the phone to realize there is a larger capacity battery in it, the phone should be on.
I've never charged this battery with my phone off and I always get 2 to 2 1/2 days battery life with 18-24 hours of screen on, depending on what apps I'm using. I do let the battery continue to charge long after it hits 100% because I've found that if I unplug it too soon the battery percentage drops like a stone. I believe the battery isn't actually at 100% when the phone thinks it is. Whatever the reason, charging the phone for an hour or two after it hits 100% works well. Then it usually takes at least an hour to drop to 99% while using my phone.

One of these days I'll charge it for over 12 hours, my battery is fine with just a 6 hour charge.
 
So I managed to kill my ZL within 15 hours, had to put it to the test. I'm fine with that result, I usually get a day and 16 max with medium usage. I would love for my phone to last 3 days like everyone else but I'm a heavy user and I don't see that happening lol.
 
My only question is, Why doesn't Zerolemon offer a "Pre-Conditioned" battery? One where they've done all the work ahead of time. They've done the first initial 12hr charge, and They've done the 4 to 6 charge/drain cycles. Cause I would have been Much more interrested in buying that.

Because the point to doing that yourself is so that your phone will recognize that it has a bigger battery in it. If all u had to do was install and charge normally then the battery percent would probably be off and the phone wouldn't recognize there's a bigger battery in it there for not giving you full potential of bigger battery because you didn't condition it yourself. I could be wrong so don't quote me.

Yeah bro, pretty sure it's got more to do with the actual chemistry of the battery. I've bought an extended battery for every phone I've ever had & never had an issue with the Android os recognizing the fact that there's a different / larger battery installed.
 
I followed the instructions and charged the battery for over 12 hours when I first got it. The battery lasted me 3 days, 10 hours with almost 11 hours of screen on time. That's pretty good!
 
Kinda defeats the purpose of a slim phone ;)
I simply carry an extra battery which is so small, you don't notice where you put it.
In my case, it fits in my phone case (sunglasses soft pouch).
 
Had this battery for 9 months now and seems im having some issues. The batterylife is still great but charging time is way longer. When my phone is on and charging it shows up as 100% but after you unplug it it goes instatnly to 72%. Doest do a full charge when its on but when the phone is off its fine. Was thinking of gettinga new onw but might upgrade soon anyway so yeah...

For me, having a slim phone is unnecessary. And it's nice not to need to carry an extra battery, and not to need to charge up two separate batteries, and not to need to stop and turn off my phone and change batteries and ...

So far I'm getting 3 days solid and still having a 15-20% charge remaining, but I don't like to go outside with my battery lower than 50%(old habits are hard to break) so I usually charge it after about two days.

The thickness of my GS3 with the 7000mAh battery is exactly the same thickness as my old, retired Palm Centro with no case, which was a much smaller phone. In my opinion, phones don't need to be so thin. Of course having a small 3 day battery would be nice, but a thicker phone feels better in the hand and gives you something to hold on to (that's what SHE said).
