Root Worth doing a different radio?

Hello every one. First off if this has been gone over before I apologize but after doing my own research I wasn't convinced. I am rooted and running cm 7.1 with the stock froyo radio on my incredible and wanted to know if it was worth flashing a newer radio? Maybe the gb one or an evo one. I know doing this is pretty painless unless I screw up which can and probably will brick my phone. Just wanted other opinions and some insight. Its good to be rooted once again after flashing the leaked update! Got it to downgrade and root just the other night!

Some see improvement, some don't. There's really no quantitative way to tell. Could be a placebo effect.

If I were to flash a radio is there any way to flash back or would I just have to run the 2.2 RUU to go back to it?

I'm by no means an expert but, AFAIK you just flash whatever radio you want if you want a different one you just flash it, this includes going back to a previous one. If you can get the radio file of course...

You can flash any radio you want in hboot and go back and forth if desired. I don't think one has a huge advantage over another personally, I've ran several over the history of this phone. It's one of the more dangerous tasks although it's very quick due to the small files so the chance of having a secondary/interruption issue during the flash is small.
