Started out with the dual 500 GB drives and a 250 WD, now have the SSD for my OS (system) Drive. Started out with no webcam, then added the Lifecam Cinema, now have the Studio....
With me, it is always a work in progress. I usually rename the beast after it gets a major overhaul (i.e. new proc + mobo).
glocks advice has been spot-on throughout the thread, knows this stuff well. I know it well enough when I am seriously researching for upgrades, and then stop worrying about it until it is time again.
I *do* have an Intel Core i7 965 EE sitting here that has no home b/c I cannot afford the upgrades needed (mobo + RAM + PSU
minimum to make it work - and I don't want to hold back on RAM this time, min 6 GB, wanting 12 just to start out)....By the time it finds a home the 90X will prolly be 2 gens old
