Would You Switch to Samsung Galaxy S II/Epic 4G?

So I've been waiting to hear more about this rumor I heard awhile back about the Samsung Galaxy S II comming to Boost. A Couple articles I posted below have given me hope. One of the articles talks about a 4.5" touchscreen Epic 4G touch. I went and looked at the HTC Evo Design 4G when it came out and it is a quality phone but didn't think it was worth upgrading quite yet until the 4G towers are in my area. I loved my Prevail and I'm a fan of Samsung so reading these articles was uplifting. I've had the Warp since the New Years Day but I may be selling mine if we get these new phones, what about you?

Sprint’s Samsung Galaxy S II Epic 4G Touch headed to Boost Mobile

Like you austin316 I also have been following this, and that is the reasoning behind me not updating to the HTC Evo Design (boost) or even considering the EVO v (virgin mobile TERRIBLE COVERAGE/SERVICE) I am pretty sure its going to happen and it will be around mid fourth quarter when the warp was released. And yes i will defiantly be joining you.As a rule I update every year around the Holidays its a gift to myself.I will most likely be rooting this warp very soon and screw around with it for a few months and then give it to my one Niece as i promised her.

I will surely be gettin this phone if it actually hits the boost lineup. This will be the best probably the most advance phone they will ever have for now..... Speaking specs wise of course.

Well id feel i wasted money on this phone if i were to swich but that one looks a lot better and if apallo gets it then i would most likley update but not untill i could get a unitology rom on it cuz im never happy with stock and id be a bit upset to lose a lot of what i have and could do withthis phone

Sign me up too!!! That is a great phone....Probably a million ROMs out there. Glad I held out on getting the small screen of the EVO Design 4G.

yes also i will be keeping my eyes on this so as if it does get released i can update the boostmobile sticky (again) and good choice holding out i do not want to sacrifice my large screen size i only want to go bigger :D

If they push over $300 it would have to be completely equal to the sprint phones. Otherwise that's absurd. I assume between 2-3 would be about right given the fact they throttle down the good stuff on most phones when they go to prepaid.

But that's just my opinion. :)

I figured I couldn't be the only one waiting for this development. I just got down to $40 a month and I'm happy with Boost. Nobody can touch that price for phone/text/web unlimited. I figure I can get atleasat $100-150 for my Warp because I kept it cased and screen protected from day one so if the Galaxy S II is under $300 its a no brainer. $150 or less to upgrade is worth it. The things I love about this phone is the 1080p, 8 megapixel camera, front facing camera, 4.5" screen, and I love the dual core processor. I've had a couple apps force close and I have a feeling thats because of the processor is a little weak in the Warp. Just a guess.

I can't see boost pushing over $300

Its quite possible, the Evo is $299 and the Epic is far more better than the Evo speaking specs wise. This phone pacts a lot of features so i would say about $350. you can get the Evo for 299 or get more features for 50 bucks more with the Epic.

Looks like I'll be dishing out $350 lol.

Just like they dropped the price on the warp, and then the marquee, they will lower the price on the evo when the epic is out. I'll bet it debuts at $300.
