Wow! Embarrassed by my Captivate!

I have to say. I ordered an HTC Aria for 25$ refurb. Then after a week I saw a refurb Captivate for free. So I was obvioulsy stoked that I could return my Aria and get a Captivate because obviously the Captivate is blazing fast right? Right and wrong... IMHO.

Now the Aria has a 600 proc and not nearly as good a GPU(if any) as the captivate. BUT, but, but, from my use the Aria is snappier and quicker OVERALL. Much. For some reason when I do stuff that requires data on the Aria there is hardly any delay. Updating email, updated facebook etc. There is a nonsecond to connect then the data is there. My Captivate however is always searching and stalling... WTF?! I also know for sure the radio or configuration in the Aria has much better reception then the Captivate in my area anyway. I'm always getting data unavailable on my Captivate and never did for the week I used the Aria... Also the battery life on my Captivate is NOT GOOD. Not good at all. I've used many, many smartphones in the past 5 years and this has been one of the worst for battery life.

This sucks. I really like the usability of the Aria. Rubberized, small, Sense... But the screen is the only thing I can't deal with. Too bad too. If it were even a 3.5 inch with a wvga resolution I'd be all set. I had high hopes for the Captivate but it's letting me down. I'll probably sell it on Ebay and look for a Telus HTC Desire to use on ATT.

ATT Android offerings suck.
