Root WOW ...ICS clock, huge battery hog!!!

* TRUCKS ARE BEAUTIFUL *
I get up every morning at 4:30 unplug my phone 100%.
Normally during work 3g is off, maybe i'll make a few calls, send a few texts, when i get home after work about 2:30 pm battery is usually at about 94%.

The other day i downloaded the Ice Cream Sandwich clock, now when i get home at 2:30 battery at best is at 72%.

I just thought i'd post this, maybe it could help someone with the same clock and having battery drain and didn't know why!

HTH.

Battery life isn't always the same. For instance, maybe in your pocket the phone soft rebooted out of no wear(tends to happen due to kernels on ICS for us). That's a believable theory.

My second thought is that ICS just leakrd more than it should. Back when i used ICS, sometimes I could go an hour and lose 10% on WiFi. Now i go 100% to 0 in 8 hours.

Some past ICS experiences. My usage is insane though, so.... :P

@CuriousNoob...thanks for response, but i think you misread my post.

I am running backside, my battery life is the same everyday, its when i downloaded the ice cream sandwich clock that it went downhill.

I haven't changed a thing on my phone, just the clock, and it's really sucking the juice.

No big deal, i'll just have to charge more often for now because i really like that clock!

Just to verify: Backup the app and then delete it. If this cures your battery lose then it was the offending problem. If it was not, you have another problem that needs to be addressed.

Well it's definitely the clock sucking the life out of my phone.
Full charge at midnight, unplugged charger,it's 9:19 am still have 98% battery.

For now i'll charge more often, until i get tired of the clock or my battery can't handle all the charging.

Are you on ZV9, or 4/5? 9 has good battery life, 4/5 has worse.

I recommend Mirage though. Up to date a better kernel.

@ CuriousNoob... zv4.

Problem fixed ,after AndyOpie150 told me to delete the clock, i reinstalled, now it's working fine ...battery life back to normal. YIPEE i can keep my clock!!!

:)THANKS GUYS
