Help wow, sprint fixed my laggy phone with 4g issue

mooretime

Newbie
So, i called htc. Some stupid lady told me to reset my phone once a day to improve evo speed :/

Then i called sprint customer service. He researched for 10mins, sent some kind of profile update to my phone and now when 4g is on my phone doesnt lag!

I dont know what he did but it worked! Before i called him i tried all the updates through the update menu, but nothing worked. He definitely did something that isnt available through the update menu

Alright, what are you waiting for??? Call sprint now!

how long has your issue been solved? there is a new update that hasn't been pushed to all phones that reportedly has helped correct the issues. has any of the information in "about phone" changed. please list that info for us or take a screen shot using shoot me and post up

Thank you! I am going to look into it further when I am on the laptop. It's hard to cross reference from the phone

^ Can you post settings/stats from a never rooted Evo? I was trying to look for the exact numbers when I first rooted and I couldn't find them. They would be good for those who want to see if their unrooting efforts worked.

Looks like they took you back on revision on the Kernel (unless you did a typo)

Mine says:

2.6.32.15-ge2fb08e
htc-kernal@and18-2 #11

And that's the only difference between them.

I would like to see some more kernel revisions from folks having the issue/not having the issue.

I am using a custom kernel
