I used RSD lite awhile ago to install ESE81 by Pete. I would to go back to stock. I followed the guide in here on going back and downloaded everything I need but now everytime I try to load it, it fails. Any help would be appreciated.

When you say "when I try to load it", which part are you trying to load? Are you getting stuck on RSD, recovery, or actually booting up the phone?

OK so you're stuck on RSD Lite.

Do you have the correct 32 or 64 bit Motorola drivers installed on your computer?

Is the phone on the bootloader (hold up on the D-pad while pressing power) when you are trying this?

Is the SBF file on the root of your computer (directly on the C drive)?

Hmm.. XP 32-Bit is usually the easiest one to get working. Make sure you have the absolute newest version of the Motorola drivers and RSD first.

Did you verify the MD5 sum of the SBF file before you tried flashing it? Also, check out this thread and see if this guy's method allows RSD to flash the file.

I do recall the USB drivers are NOT at the link given in the How To. I had to go to Motorola and find them. I should tell OMJ that as you need those.

Are you booting into the bootloader or recovery? You should be holding up on the keyboard while booting(towards the screen) and it should say bootloader

Thanx to all for the help. Everything I tried didn't work, so I took it to my local VZW store and had them reflash the software to 2.2. All is good I am lovin me some Froyo now.
