If your phone is rooted this is great news. It's not ready yet, but knowing the dev's at XDA it won't be long. Check the XDA Samsung Infuse 4g development subforum for info!!!

Where are you seeing confirmation of Gingerbread???? Can you share a link?

Now it's not confirmation of the official gingerbread update from samsung/att. It's the version that is coming from the Canadian owners of the infuse that comes prepackaged with GB. Once the developers at XDA get it they will be able to. Turn it into a ROM you can flash on your rooted US infuse.

It's on the third or fourth page where someone from Canada starts to 'dump' his info. Which is what they need to turn it around and make it work on our phones!
