Help XE has stopped Vibrating

I've had my XE for 4 months and last week it decided to stop vibrating.
I rang my provider, T-Mobile, who told me to send it back to them, which I don't really want to do, especially if their is a quick fix.
Has anyone encountered this before and if so how did you solve it ?

Thanks in advance

Cheers Fonzig I've sorted it haha.
I read that thread and and put a case on the phone and then dropped it from around 4ft onto some papers on the laminate floor.....nothing.
I then took it upstairs and dropped it from head height onto carpet and still nothing.
I read through the thread again and noticed someone mention where the vibrate part is and you can see it when you take the back off the phone.
I took the back off, located what I assumed was the vibrate part, put the back on and then slapped that part of the phone against my leg a few times. Shockingly it worked.
Well happy, saved me doing a factory reset this afternoon :)
