Got Sensation XE as upgrade from Desire S......have to say not as impressed with XE as I was with Desire S......still great though and better than iPhone :oD

Greetings from rainy Wales! Updated from Desire S. On my second XE after the first one kept shutting down then rebooting. It's happened once so far on the new one and really hoping that's a one off. Adore the phone apart from that, so fingers crossed.

Had an iphone and XE sat on the desk in front of me and I couldn't decide, I had a desire for 2 years and did eeeny, meeny, miney, mo! XE won, ( I may have cheated after trying out an iPhone all weekend and missed my desire). I nearly deafened myself with beats and downloaded loads of apps due to not having hardly any on desire due to space issues. Got over excited, then realised, actually most of the stock apps are much improved, so been deleting them all again! So far, battery life is much better than my desire with a massive booster battery on it, but I use navigator almost all day everyday.

So far loving it, much nicer feel than galaxy 2, which to me feels like a large after eight mint. Just ordered and case and 2 spare batteries and I'm happy. Just need to work out how to connect to TV next :). Here's to 2 years with XE, hope it lasts!

I'm a newbie here and I just got my HTC xe a month ago. I have two problems first, when receiving a call the ring only last for 10-15 sec only then automatically declined the call. how can I fix it? secondly, when using camera and my battery is below half I can't use the flash anymore... pls help find the settings!

I may be able to help with the length of ring. Not sure if this is the same on all networks, but this is what you do on O2:
As if you were dialling a phone number, enter: **61*901*11*no. of seconds# send (add seconds in increments of 5). The maximum you can set is 30 seconds.

As far as I'm aware, you don't have a choice about when the flash is disabled. I haven't found a setting for it, but I'm sure it doesn't happen on mine until the battery is down to 15%.

Another from Scotland, Dundee to be precise. Been on the Android forum for a while, but new to the Sensation. Last phone was the iPhone 4. The XE is a cracking phone.

But need some question .. when I try to record for some time it just close its recording without even saving my records :-(

Another new Sensation XE user here. Upgraded on Saturday from the HTC Desire I'd had and loved for the last 2 years.

I always expect newer technology to do everything the old technology could plus some more but am finding that isn't always the case eg....I was able to get the phone's LED to flash in various different colours on my Desire when using Handcent but the option is greyed out on the Sensation XE so it will only flash green....*cries* I'm also not liking the location of the LED within the red front speaker grill on the Sensation XE as I find it quite difficult to see that it's flashing at times

I also preferred the hard buttons on the Desire to the soft ones on the Sensation, particularly the camera shutter. The soft one is an absolute nightmare when taking self portraits with the back camera (there's no flash on the front facing camera which is why I used the back camera when I took the pic) and trying to balance the phone in my hand and work out where the shutter release would be was quite a palaver but other than that I'm overall happy and am totally loving the massive phone memory capacity the Sensation XE has in comparison.
