Root XML file help...

I'm still playing around with themes on my Ally and the one thing I want to try next is making the battery icon change with each percentage like I see in many ROMs for the Ally and Incredible. I downloaded a premade XML file that will display the different icons once I make them, but i'm unsure which folder it goes in inside the framework.res file. Anyone know where it goes?

Also, what is the best program for viewing (and possibly editing) XML files?

Thanks, but I must be in over my head on this one. I took the XML file I downloaded off the net and tried to use it after spending an hour and a half making all the icons. System boots fine, but the space where the battery icons are supposed to be is emtpy and I have no clue why.

Yeah, its a major PITA to do. Thats why it wasn't in frunisher. Theres also a way to get the services.jar to show it as an overlay. So no image mods necessary, but i couldnt find the required mods.

Bummer. I was really looking forward to finishing off my Frunisher theme with the new battery icons. Might keep searching the net for someone who might have posted directions on how to do it.
