Why would I need to flash the switcher zip. I don't need system rw for what I'm doing just need xposed.

From what I've seen its a issue with the ROM being odexed(or deodexed I forgot which one it is) but we need the opposite of what we have now. Is it possible to do?

I'm not on cm12.1. I'm on stock metro PCS. So I don't have to worry about that. So one again do I need the the xposed zip also. And if so can you give me a.link please. I can't find it for this phone.

Oh sorry that wasn't meant for you more ofba general but if your rooted and on 4.4.4 or even 4.4.2 you don't need the zips just the apk and install it inside the app. It should guide you

It may have something to do with the .odex.gz files in /system/app&priv-app. I have already deleted all of these files so I'll see if xposed works for me this time.

You need rw to install or go to the xposed app setting and change the installation method

I got it to work. just changed the install method. But still can't get unlimited tethering.(I know wrong thread).

PAC ROM works too. I need to update it with the Netflix fix built in but If you flash it your fine. Pac runs good now.

Yes it does. I also had to flash the redbull sensor fix, but it's golden now. Now it's time for Xposed on 5.1

Carbon ROM works with Xposed, I've only tested GravityBox so far.

well i want to install xposed on pac rom(latest build) but i cant. It keeps saying xposed framework is not installed after i flashed the zip file. I am not sure if i'm doing this correctly. This is my first attempt at installing xposed on lollipop.

Well I almost thought of releasing another build of PAC ROM but idk how people will feel about it? Are you on beta 3 I released it like last week but it shouldnt affect xposed. What happens when you flash it in twrp? Does it ever finish? What does it finish with?

you should , and yeah I'm on beta 3.Runs smooth, i haven't found any problems.
I go to twrp, flash it normally. I'm positive it finishes. All it does once its done flashing, is give me the normal options if something was flashed successfully. I'm going at it again right now. can you give me a list of steps on how i can successfully do this. I really want xposed on pac so it can stay on my phone.

It causes some stability issues. Also if it doesn't work try switching to candy or carbon. Its up to you same features. So first you flash the zip then wipe cache and dalvik and then install apk. Also I've read that it sometimes says that but its not true. To test download gravitybox for lollipop and try it

so i did all that stuff, but still gives me the xposed fw is not installed. i installed gravity box but it doesn't let me activate the module , it requires a newer xposed bridge.

if this doesn't work out, what would you recommend , candy or carbon???
