[Ziani]

Hiya...am trying the compact Querty on my hero. It will go to XT9 when messenging and browsing but does not when searching the market, only allows nomal ABC which is a bit annoying. Can anybody help? Thanks.

ditto, this is so annoying too!!

The Xt9 button is disabled on the keyboard too. I can only think that its because they thing app names will not be in the standard dictionary, so disable it. If so, its such a stupid decision, they should let US decide to turn it off or on, so yeah I tried to fix this before but didn't get anywhere so I assume its a none starter. I'd love to know if anyone has done it though.
