Root xtrSense 50% TWS bug -- help appreciated

I have tried everything to fix the 50% TWS bug, and have not had any success....


Does anyone have a fool proof method of getting rid of this??

It is taking a serious toll on my battery life.

Did you try the Airplane Mode work around? That always seems to work for me.

+1. Though, I have to say, I often forget to do the Airplane Mode gymnastics after restarting my phone, and my battery life is never different whether I clear the 50% bug or not. I suspect that the 50% bug is just a reporting issue with the battery use setting; that it's not actually having 50% TWS.

I agree with doogald re. this...I've never had an issue on either my Eris or my Droid X regarding battery drain related to the 50% "issue" on both devices. So, at least for me, its a reporting issue and not an issue that impacts me.

However, that's not to say that the OP, NPH-, isn't actually being affected by this. NPH-, have you monitored your signal strength in the place where you and your phone are most of the time? Perhaps it really is an issue where you are getting poor reception and therefore the phone's radio is spending more time and effort (i.e., and draining battery) searching for a signal...
