LG Whiz Kid
i'm updating as I type...didn't get the error even though i'm rooted so my device was able to update...but I'll let you know what it is once it reboots :D

would suck if it gets stuck in a boot loop

I noticed something when i did the ota....im unrooted and havent rooted yet cuz i semibricked my phone then un bricked it before work so didn't have time to root but what i did noticed is before The update is i would see the lg logo pop up 3 times then the metro boot animation this tim only saw it Twice...not sure what that, means tho

Are you sure it was *three* time?

Yes positive i would see the lg logo the black screen for a second then the lg logo with the animation light going around the lg then it blinked real quick and i mean real quick then the metro boot animation

Wow! Talk about weird! I bought two Motions at the same time from our local Metro store. I rooted both phones at the same time. My sons phone and my phone notified us of the upgrade about 20 minutes apart. His updated just fine but mine gave me a notice that said "it appears this phone is rooted and can not be updated"! Three days ago they both upgraded just fine.

Looks like version F added Google + to my list of search engines which I don't need.

And then Google Plus tracks you for targeted advertising I.ve heard.

Also Version F changed my stock browser .

So I disabled Google + and even though not rooted seems like Browser tool bar went back to normal.

I noticed that in E and F.... Seems like with each up date, more battery is lost,...

Yeah.

If you go to developer options and limit background processes to 3 or 4 you get some

battery life back ,-not sure on rooted phones if this works.

Each O.S. seems to boot with more RAM and that RAM is doing something which eats

battery.......

Try a factory reset after flashing each firmware and let us know which one uses the least. :)
