Help You'll never guess... memory problems.

hey all,
I'm one of the last that have yet to root my Ally.
Just not comfortable with it I guess.
Anyway, my Facebook app is draining 25m of my internal memory.
What can I do to minimize this?
If I do clear data, what exactly does that do?

Please no Root or buy I knew phone suggestions, for I know
already that is my ultimate fix.
But in the meantime... what can I do?

WOW!
By doing so, I just freed up 22M of memory.
If it's not needed, why does the Facebook app store any info?
It's running just as fast (faster actually because of the memory set free).

I believe it might be storing everything as a cache. Like pictures you view and such.

Woop Woop. 1200th post mark. (I missed my 1000 mark :( and then 1100 slipped away as well. lol)
 
Agreed...clear out the Facebook data, I have also noticed that it saves a lot more than needed, and all you have to do is re sign-in. I cleared up about 25 MB!
