Your experience with screen protectors?

Hey all,

I've always used invisible shields for all of my devices; however on the Nexus, I've been having some issues. Being that the phone is all screen with no outside bevel, I continually have issues with the protector being pushed up. I'm on my third and now looking at a fourth!

The biggest problem I had at first was using a case. The edges of the case push the protector up, so I got rid of the case because of this. Since then though, just regular usage (storing in my pocket), I have issues with the corners of the screen coming up. I just put my third one on a week ago and just now, the corner came up because I had something in my pocket that pushed it up.

So I'm curious, has anyone had better success with other products? I'm a huge fan of Zagg; however I'm open for suggestions.

Thanks!

I'm a big fan of Ghost Armor. I had it on my EVO, and the original protector lasted a year and a half. It's also, IMO, very smooth...doesn't have that tacky feel to it. Also, it's translucent to the point that it's almost invisible...no haze at all. A really nice product.

I ordered a pack of 2 screen protectors from Ghost Armor, and I think they were around $20 with shipping. I paired them up with the Incipio black hybrid case (part rubber, part hard plastic). The case covers the edges of the protector that don't quite reach the bezel. All in all, it's been a pretty nice setup for me.

I normally go for verizon products but not with my nexus. I decided on boxwave, awesome decision. I can't even tell its there, its super smooth just like the glass and literally crystal clear. No problems with it coming up so far.

I've tried a number of screen protectors for the Nexus. So far my favorite is from XO Skins. It has the least amount of orange peel and fits well.

I'm happy with my XO. I just with I would have waited the full 24 hours before placing in my pocket(less than 8). I have a small wrinkle (my fault). Other than that my is holding up great with a Seidio Active case kept in my pocket or tool belt.

When I bought the phone, the Verizon store installed the anti-glare screen protector on it, and it looked HORRIBLE. I soon switched to Verizon's standard screen protector, and it looks crystal clear. As far as screen appearance goes, I really don't think you can get any better than this.

If you have issues with the case pushing it up, XO has a case fit for that. Its cut jus ta little smaller so your case cant pick at it

I've always thought the cheap ones from Amazon or Ebay were better.super smooth and thin. Even when I buy full body Shields I get cheap screen proctors.

Yeah I use zagg, but usually find a coupon code to lessen the damage. Replacements are 2.99 for shipping only, so over the course of owning a phone I'm sure it is a wash.
