simple enough.. if you enjoy a cold beer...

when you want a cold brew... do you want it in a bottle, can, or glass? and why?

i personally like bottle..
it seems to taste better .. and stay colder longer...

glass has too much foam/head

Bottle. I've just always been a bottle kinda girl. Tastes better, I don't like anything from a can. Cans are dirty and yucky to drink from, unless you use a straw.
I don't mind a glass I guess, but prefer to simply pop the top and have a drink.

I need a 4th option. I don't care given it is not a non-alcoholic beer :p I usually drink from cans simply because I don't like washing glasses and I've had too many flat beers from bottles (not properly sealed) but some beer doesn't come in cans...Now if I had the tap option I would choose glass...

Sent from my coaster...laptop

Glass from a local brewery, if I don't have a glass I would settle for a bottle.

Bottles bottles bottles, but it's rare that I drink.

I prefer bottles. At home I will drink from can before using a glass. If I'm out somewhere I may drink from a glass or bottle.

Can for convenience. Bottle if ice cold. Rarely a glass. Your poll was missing an option, belly.:D

Ugh, I used to be a big homebrewer but have shelved it due to a lot of work. I still have my homemade kegerator sitting in the living room, empty. I'm also a certified BJCP judge so I take beer pretty seriously.
For me, I always go for the draft option. Cans offer the best option otherwise. No problems with light or oxidation. Wish more craft brewers would move to that package.

I'm still a beginner when it comes to homebrewing, but I absolutely love doing it. My father in law gave me a beer brewing bible and it's my goal to try every beer recipe in the book.

When out I'll drink draught (aka tap, but it should be a hand pump or gravity rather than gas pressure), so my answer is "glass".

At home either bottle if shop bought, or else glass when I'm brewing my own. In the UK the better ales are generally bottled, so "can" is rarely an option.

Fave's are tricky - too many to choose from! Bottled I guess a Riggwelter (Black Sheep brewery) or a Black Cuillin (Skye brewery). Draught I'll take what's there, as long as it's in good condition - if I have to name one I'll give a shout to my local brewery's Weatheroak Ale.

Though if really pushed, I might say that the St. Sixtus abbey in Belgium does the best beer in the world . And you'll only get that bottled, so did I choose the wrong drinking vessel?

bottle....or tap. rarely a can...unless i'm on the river since no glass is allowed. though some beers have the aluminum bottles...but would that be bottle or can???

anyone tried the Bud Light Platinum yet? guys at work were talking about it.

I voted glass. I enjoy drinking craft/microbrews, so if I'm in a bar that has a good variety on tap, I'm happy. Otherwise, I buy 6 packs or bombers of various beers to have at home. My local grocery store (Hy Vee) keeps a nice stock of microbrews to choose from. I also go to a local microbrewery in town here that makes a few good beers, especially their dry-hopped pale ale. I'm salivating just thinking about it...
