Root Your favourite apps for root users?

SUroot

Extreme Android User
Recently rooted and now running a MoDaCo 3.1 rom.

So far I have discovered Set CPU, which seems great for saving battery.

Has Anyone else found any decent battery saving root apps that I could apply?

Also, what are your favourite root access apps?

I have rom manager and tried adfree android, but that didn't like editing the hosts file and didn't block the ads I hoped.

Have to say being a total noob - Rom Manager was a revelation. Really well designed, intuitive and problem free.

Will need to check out set CPU, so far Devillian seems very good for battery life, but it could come in handy regardless.

With set cpu, one thing I noticed was that with the 2 main pages (main and profiles)..

You set profiles based on battery, so for example if battery < 50% run cpu at xxxMhz, but in main you can set an overall min and max for cpu.

If you set the main AFTER the profiles, it seems to default to this, even though the profile is active in the notification area. If you change your main, disable and enable profiles afterwards and that seems to do the trick.

Boot animation change is alright. You can do it pretty easily manually though so the paid version is just for laziness really.
