Help YouTube Buffer Issue

I've got a brand new Galaxy Note II and YouTube is killing me. Takes 20 mins to watch a 3 min video. If it is the recent update for the Android OS how can I go back to the older version or any other thoughts to help out with this?
I used to be able to watch vids no problem

Hey there and welcome to Android Forums. :)

I've got you moved into the note 2 forums.

Are you in an area with good cell reception?

This has been a big complaint on all Android devices for the last week. Some people report it only happens on WiFi and not on LTE.
Let's just hope the youtube people at Google are working on it.

I noticed this quite a while ago, I posted something about it and tried everything I could. It is kind of annoying to do every video, but, once the video starts, and you get past the ad, if there is one, tap the screen and on the bottom left hand corner, UN-check HD. Once it reloads, you will be able to watch the video with still very decent quality. Barely noticeable IMO. :o

Did you update the Youtube app recently? If so, uninstall the updates. That's the only way that I could get youtube to work over Wifi.

The youtube app has never been perfect for me. Sometimes it's just better to use the mobile website.
